May 9th, 2012Samsung is among the leaders of the current market of cellular electronics. There are basically lots of cell phone deals from this organization and all of them are based on a wonderful operating system called Android.
Within the past few years, we have all appreciated every Android phone introduced in the marketplace and things were very quiet for a while. The beginning of this year has presented a whole new chance for all the cellular phone suppliers worldwide. Microsoft has launched its promotion phase for the new Windows 8.
This brand new OS will be the best so far and it will be compatible with every single device on the market. This means that the brand new operating-system will be the same for a desktop, phone or tablet. The innovative concept revolutionized the way some manufacturers think about Android and Samsung is among them.
This massive company has been loyal with Android for years now but you will find rumors that say it will switch this year. We have already seen that the Windows Mango has a great potential when it is coupled with high quality phones. Nokia has made a comeback thanks to the new Windows product and there are various other manufacturers that want to participate in the Microsoft revolution.
Some information leaked these days about Samsung. They are preparing to launch up to 3 new models that will use Windows 8 at some point in the future. This means that Samsung probably will not stay and watch at the competition. It will enter this new market place segment and it will try to make it its own.
We currently do not know if Samsung is going to release totally new phones or if it will take one of its former models and convert it to use Windows 8. A few of the potential candidates for a transformation are the Focus and the Galaxy S models. Both of these designs are based on different niche categories. One is an entry level phone and one is a high end cell phone. By choosing both of these versions Samsung can hope to capture the attention of all people.
Studies are now carried out on the market to see if a new OS can change the market. Suppliers are preparing for a change and things will probably be interesting in the future. Samsung can make a gamble and decide to stick with android or to choose the modern Windows 8.
